He was found in a tragic situation, tied up and starving at a location known for illegal dog fighting. We suspect he may have been used as a bait dog. At the time, he was just a puppy — scared, skinny, and unsure of the world. We brought him to safety, gave him food, love, and time to heal.
Over the past two years in our care, he has slowly but surely opened up. Though he started off fearful and cautious, he’s learned to trust again. Now, he enjoys gentle attention, belly rubs, and calm companionship. He thrives in a peaceful environment where he can feel safe and seen.
